A cool look to try out with a braided headband is getting one that matches your hair color. It may even fool people into thinking it's part of your real hair. Of course, it also looks cool if the headband doesn't match your hair, so don't be afraid to try this style out either. If you're going to an event where you need to be dressed up, you can wear a braided headband with your hair up in a bun. For a more casual day, simply wear your hair down with the headband. I would suggest avoiding any braided hairstyle. You want the headband to stand out as much as possible.

For a casual summer look, pair a braided bracelet with a screen tee, a pair of shorts, and some flip flops. For a more dressy Summer look, wear a braided necklace with a sundress and a pair of wedge espadrilles. To make your own braided bracelet, get three strands of yarn (or a similar material) that are approximately 6 inches long, tie the strands together in a knot on one end, and start braiding. When you are finished braiding, tie a knot on the other end. Then tie both ends together to fasten the bracelet. If you've ever made a friendship bracelet at summer camp, this may sound familiar to you. Use the same technique for making a braided necklace. The only difference is you'll want the strands of yarn to be longer. I'd say 15 inches is a pretty good length. (WARNING: Please do not attempt to tie the necklace while it is around your own or someone else's neck. This is a choking hazard.)
For a bohemian style, pair a braided strap handbag with a peasant top, a shredded denim skirt, bangle bracelets, a feather necklace, and wedge espadrilles. To get a modern-hippie look, wear this handbag with a tie-dyed top, destroyed jeans, bangles, feather earrings, and some flip flops. For a simple summer look, pair this bag with a maxi dress, some gladiator sandals, and a floppy hat.

To channel a Greek goddess, wear a braided belt around the waist of a one-shouldered dress. Pair the dress and belt with some gladiator sandals, a flower headband, gold bangles, and gold hoop earrings.
Strap It On:
For a Grecian-inspired look, pair a braided strap dress with some gladiator sandals, a flower headband, gold bangle bracelets, and gold chandelier earrings. You can also achieve this look with a braided strap top and A-line skirt instead of a dress.
