Band-Aid

Say goodbye to the days of hiding underneath baggy tops and shapeless skirts, because this summer is all about embracing your curves. The trend of body conscious bandage clothing is proof of that. What is bandage clothing, you may be asking? These are dresses, skirts, and tops made up of layers of elastic fabric that is wrapped around like a bandage. This type of clothing also holds in your curves the way a bandage would, creating a look that is very flattering. If you're not comfortable with wearing bandage clothing, you can still try out this trend with bandage shoes. These shoes still look sexy and have the shape of bandages on them (this may or may not include cutout details). Check out some of my little bandage finds below.

For a date, wear a bandage dress with a pair of high heel gladiator shoes, some chandelier earrings, a bow necklace, and a flower headband. For hitting up the clubs, wear a bandage top with some skinny jeans, a fun pair of sneakers, and hoop earrings. Another cool club look to try out is pairing some bandage shoes with a one-shoulder dress and a sequin headband. To wear a bandage skirt to the office (yes, this is possible), pair it with a button-down blouse and some pumps. Make sure you tuck the blouse into the skirt. This will form the look of a 2-fer dress. To try out a more casual look with a bandage skirt, pair with a solid-colored tank top, some wedge espadrilles, and a bib necklace. Again, tuck the tank top into the skirt so you can get the look of a 2fer dress. I hope my tips on how to wear bandage clothing will help you out. If you can think of any other ways to wear this trend, e-mail me at Charmed42787@gmail.com or write me a message on myspace.
