Be Glad For The Summer

In celebration of my new job at Sears' shoe department, I've decided to post about one of the hottest shoe trends this summer: The Gladiator Sandal! This style of shoe has been all over the runways, in fashion magazines everywhere, and in television and movies. This, of course, includes the ever-popular Sex and The City movie that is still playing in theaters (great movie, by the way!). Carrie Bradshaw (played by Sarah Jessica Parker) wears a $770 pair of gladiator shoes by Dior throughout the movie. However, most of us living in the real world can't afford the Dior shoes. So, I decided to feature some cheaper alternatives below.

I hope you are glad (no pun intended!) to see this extremely popular shoe style offered at more reasonable prices than the Dior shoes. If there are any more popular trends that you just can't seem to find at an affordable price, let me know. E-mail me at Charmed42787@gmail.com or send me a message on myspace. I will try to find the trend you want at a price that won't be too hard on your wallet.

Ooh, I didn't even know there was such a thing called gladiator shoes? Are they uncomfortable? (the high ones, i mean)?

AWESOME! You know, your fashion sense is amazing! XDXDXD!!! Have you ever designed any clothing at all and do you want to?

Dibsy: I actually haven't tried on high heeled gladiators yet, but I don't think they're that uncomfortable as long as they aren't too high. I have worn other types of high heeled shoes and they're ok as long as they're not much higher than 4 inches.

Bright Sponge: Thank you! No, I haven't designed any clothing. My goal is to be a stylist or a buyer. I also might like to write for a fashion magazine or newspaper.
