To get the look of a rock star, grab a cutout top and pair it with either a bleached denim mini-skirt or some jeans with exposed zippers, hoop earrings, and studded shoes. For a date, wear a cutout dress with a pair of high heels, some chandelier earrings, and a bow necklace. Cutout shoes would look good worn with a sundress, some bangles, and a floppy hat. For a cute Summer look wear some cutout jewelry with a tank top, a pair of shorts, and flip flops. If you feel some of the cutout tops or dresses show too much skin, layer them over a tank top or camisole. You can also layer them over a long-sleeved shirt or sweater during the cooler seasons. I love cutouts that are done in a sophisticated way. It's nice to show off a little skin.
I agree. I think the cutout styles that look sexy yet still keep it classy look best. I have a few tops like that and I love wearing them.
I'm okay with destroyed denim and cutouts if the cutouts are on the back of the shirt, the shoulder, or the bib area. And I don't think there should be any designs on the shirt, or else it looks trashy.I definitely don't think destroyed denim and cut outs should be paired together- it would just look like you don't have enough money to buy clothes without any holes in them.
I don't really mind designs on cutout tops, but I do agree that cutout shirts and destroyed denim should not be paired together. Cutout details look best if they're only worn on the top or the bottom. Not both. Otherwise, it looks like you got into a fight with a lawnmower and lost. :)
