My Halloween Comeback

Hey fashionistas!
Yes, I realize that it's been a long time since my last blog post; It's been difficult to find the time to update with my crazy work schedule. On top of that, my old laptop is infected with some nasty viruses (which I can't get rid of) that make it hard to use since it's SO slow! Now I have a new computer that's waiting to be set up (thanks James!), so I've decided to get back into blogging. A Rosette By Any Other Name

April showers bring May flowers. This May, these flowers will be in the form of rosettes. That's right. Rosettes are perfect for the spring just like flower accessories, floral prints, and ditsy prints. If you're wondering what rosettes are, they are a cousin to ruffles and flower accessories. They're basically ruffles that are made into the shape of flowers. I will admit that I'm in love with this trend. Maybe that's why everything I've been buying lately has had a rosette on it. For a wedding, prom, or dance wear rosette headband or rosette hair clip in your hair with either loose waves or pulled back into a sleek bun. You can wear a rosette necklace with a strapless dress or a tube top. A rosette bracelet would look great with any sleeveless top. Wear a rosette dress with with a pair of ditsy tights, ballet falts, some hoop earrings, and a feather hair clip. Pair a rosette skirt with a striped top, a bow headband, some paint splattered leggings, stillettos, and a cuff bracelet. Pair your rosette top with some bleached jeans, slingback shoes, bangle bracelets, and a bib necklace. A rosette hat can be worn with a cute sundress and a pair of flip flops for a vintage beach look. You can also carry a rosette handbag and wear a floppy hat for this look.
