It's almost time to top off 2009 and say hello to 2010. Not only will this be a new year, but it will also be a new decade. So why not go all out this New Year's Eve? Funky statement hair accessories such as bow, flower, and feather headbands/hair clips were very dominant throughout 2009. Another statement headpiece has been hat headbands and hat hair clips. While these fun accessories have not been worn as much as the three former headpieces, they would still be perfect to wear while celebrating the end of the decade. While these headbands and hair clips may be a little hard to pull off in a casual setting, as stated before, they would be nice for any New Year's Eve party. Even if you're not going to be attending any New Year's parties, you can still wear these funky accessories for hitting up clubs or bars. Tiers Of Joy

Ruffles have been in style for quite some time now. With this trend as well as lace, floral prints, flower headbands, bow headbands, bow necklaces, bows, and polka dots, it's all about being proud of being a girl. So this post is going to be about another feminine trend: tiers. Tiers are a type of ruffle, but they have more of a layered look to them than regular ruffles generally do (think of tiers on a cake). For a holiday party, wear a tiered dress with some liquid leggings, a shrug, a pair of high heeled pumps, a bow headband, and a bib necklace. To pull off a tiered dress in a more casual setting, pair it with some patterned tights, ballet flats, a cardigan sweater, hoop earrings and a cloche hat. To wear a tiered skirt to a holiday party, pair it with a sequined top, glittered tights, stillettos, some chandelier earrings and a flower headband. For a more casual setting, pair your tiered skirt with a colorblock top, a beret, some black leggings, over-the-knee boots, and a cuff bracelet. For wearing a tiered top to a holiday party, pair it with some satin pants, a bow necklace, a pair of high heels, and a flower hair clip. In a more causal environment, pair your tiered top with skinny jeans, slouch boots, some bangle bracelets, and a newsboy hat.
