A Short Video
Summer is now officially here. This can only mean one thing: it's time to break out the shorts! But with all the different types of shorts out there, how do you know which pair is right for you? How do you chose the right type of shorts for your body? Well, have no fear! I found yet another video on Glamour magazine's website. This one is called Dress Your Body: Shorts. In this video, Suze Yalof Schwartz gives advice about what kind of shorts you can wear that will flatter your body type and make you look good. Maxi-mum Style
In contrast to the mini dresses which were all the rage last year, maxi dresses have taken over the runways this year. In case you don't know, a maxi dress is, as the name implies, the exact opposite of a mini dress. These beautiful, ankle length dresses are the perfect items to end the spring and kick off the summer with. Be warned though, these dresses aren't easy for every body type to pull off. If you are petite, like me, then you might find this trend a bit difficult to wear. However, if you are tall like Paris Hilton or Kate Moss, then you shouldn't have too many problems wearing these dresses. Keeping The Peace
The peace symbol that was extremely popular during the 1960's and 1970's has made a huge comeback in 2008. This may be due to the fact that the peace symbol celebrated its 50th anniversary this year. Well, for whatever the reason, the peace sign is everywhere in fashion right now. The peace sign is a perfect way to symbolize the upcoming summer season since woodstock also took place during the summer in 1969.
